This Privacy Policy describes how Group Payless LLC (“Group Payless,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with Gpbid (also referred to as GPbid) websites, mobile apps, and related services (together, the “Services”).
Group Payless LLC provides a marketplace that helps buyers and sellers connect, buy, and sell. This policy explains our privacy practices and your choices. For questions or privacy requests, see Contact us.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process when providing the Services, including our websites, mobile applications, social media pages, newsletters, and other online or offline offerings.
Controller. Group Payless LLC, a United States company, is generally the controller of your personal information when you use our Services. If you live in the USA, Group Payless LLC provides the Services to you and acts as the controller, subject to any region-specific terms that may apply.
2. Personal information we collect
The categories we collect depend on how you use the Services and on applicable law. We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from other sources.
2.1 Information you provide
- Account data — Name, email, postal address, phone number, and other contact details needed to create or use a Gpbid account. Optional profile details (photo, bio) may also be added.
- Credentials — Passwords and similar authentication information for account access.
- Identity verification — Government ID images and related data for seller/verified-buyer checks, processed with partners such as Stripe (Stripe Privacy Policy).
- Payment and purchase data — Bid, purchase, and sale details, billing address, and payment method metadata. Card numbers are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers entered through the Services.
- Additional seller identity data — Tax ID (or local equivalent), date of birth, ID documents, and other seller onboarding information.
- Communications — Contact details and content when you email us, request support, subscribe to newsletters, apply for a job, or otherwise message us.
- Surveys & promotions — Responses and entry information if you participate.
- User content — Livestreams, photos, chats, comments, and related metadata. Content you make public via sharing features is treated as public unless law requires otherwise—use caution before sharing identifying information.
- Streaming / clipping — We may record livestream sessions (image and voice) for a limited time. Hosts and viewers may create clips that include image and voice and share them on Gpbid or elsewhere.
- Local pickup — Postal address or zip/postal code to estimate distance. If you allow local pickup as a seller, your zip/postal code may be public and your address may be shared with buyers who choose that option.
- Events & business development — Information from conferences, trade shows, and potential business contacts.
- Job applications — Application materials (CV, work history, etc.) if you apply for a role.
- Other information — Any other personal information you choose to share with us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device data — IP address, device/browser details, identifiers, carrier, approximate location derived from IP, and similar technical data.
- Usage data — Pages viewed, links clicked, features used, timing, watchlists, follows, searches, and other activity linked to your account where applicable.

2.3 Information from other sources
- Authentication partners — If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or similar, we receive information you authorize those providers to share.
- Public sources & social networks — Publicly available data, and data you allow social networks to share when you connect or share content.
- Payment & fulfillment partners — Payment confirmations and delivery-related details.
- Advertising / marketing partners — Interest inferences and identifiers (e.g., hashed email, advertising IDs, cookies) used to measure and improve marketing relevance.
3. Cookies and other technologies
We and certain partners may use cookies, pixel tags/web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the Services, and (where allowed) to deliver relevant advertising.
- Operationally necessary — Core functionality, security, and fraud prevention.
- Performance — Analytics to understand how the Services are used.
- Functionality — Preferences, sign-in state, and enhanced features.
- Advertising / targeting — Interest-based or personalized ads on or off our Services, where permitted.
Analytics and platform partners may include Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, and Meta/Facebook tools. Social buttons (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook) may collect IP address and page data according to those companies’ policies. See Your privacy choices and rights for opt-out options.
4. How we use your personal information
Service delivery
- Create and maintain your account and app access
- Enable social and commerce features (content, chat, follows, discovery)
- Fulfill orders, payments, returns, and exchanges (including sharing addresses needed for shipping or returns)
- Provide location-based features using general location (e.g., IP or postal code)
- Use livestream recordings for transaction verification and fraud prevention (buyers of items from a stream may access relevant recordings; casual viewers do not)
- Run promotions you join and respond to support requests
- Enable payment processors to process transactions
Administration
- Account notices, policy updates, and purchase support
- Event registration and responses to inquiries, claims, or disputes
Security, trust, and safety
- Identity checks, age checks where required, and account verification
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, spam, and illegal activity
- Reviewing User Content (and, where allowed, messages/metadata) for support, policy enforcement, and safety
Legal and compliance
- Complying with law and cooperating with authorities when required
- Enforcing terms, guidelines, and policies; IP and content reports; audits
Hiring, product improvement, marketing
- Evaluating job applications and improving recruiting (where permitted)
- Research, debugging, and product development
- Marketing and advertising consistent with your preferences and applicable law (email, personalized ads, similar-audience campaigns)
- Personalization (recommendations), de-identified/aggregated analytics, referrals, and “find friends” / contact sync where you grant permission
We may use automated decision-making for anti-fraud purposes as permitted by law. You may contact us about automated decisions as described in Contact us.
5. How we disclose personal information
- Service providers — Hosting, IT, payments, CDN, marketing, analytics, customer service, and similar vendors supporting the Services. We do not share text-messaging opt-in/consent data with third parties for their own use.
- Business partners — When needed to deliver a product or joint offering you request.
- Payment & fulfillment providers — Order, contact, and delivery details needed to complete a purchase.
- Affiliates — Parent/subsidiary/common-control entities for operations and support.
- Other users / public — Profile and User Content you choose to share. New sellers may be added to onboarding group chats where username, photo, and messages are visible to participants; you may leave those chats.
- Advertising partners — As described above for measurement and personalized advertising (not your payment card numbers).
- APIs / SDKs — Third-party tools embedded in the Services.
- Legal / safety — When we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with law, protect rights and safety, enforce policies, collect amounts owed, or investigate illegal activity.
- Business transfers — Merger, acquisition, financing, bankruptcy, or asset sale, as permitted by law.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified usage information for analysis and industry reporting.
6. Your privacy choices and rights
Choices
- Email — Use unsubscribe links in marketing emails. Transactional and important service notices may continue.
- Text messages — Reply STOP, update account preferences, or contact us.
- Push / location — Control in your device settings.
- Do Not Track — We do not currently respond to browser DNT signals.
- Cookies & ads — Adjust browser/device settings; use industry opt-out tools (e.g., NAI, DAA, EDAA, DAA Canada). Mobile apps may need separate opt-outs per platform.
Rights (where applicable law provides them)
- Access / confirm processing and obtain a copy
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information
- Delete, anonymize, or block information in certain cases
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent (without affecting prior lawful processing)
- Data portability
- Learn about categories of third parties with whom data was shared
- Request review of certain solely automated decisions
- Opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising/profiling where those concepts apply under local law
- Appeal a declined request where the law provides an appeal
To exercise rights, contact us as set forth below. We may verify your identity (for example, by confirming the email on your account). Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority where permitted. You may also complain to a supervisory authority where available.
7. Security
We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards and internal policies to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of networks or systems we or our providers operate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for unauthorized disclosure.
If we learn of a breach affecting you, we may notify you electronically (site notice, mail, or email) as appropriate.
8. International transfers
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your home country. We apply the protections described in this policy regardless of where processing occurs. We may disclose information in response to lawful government requests. Group Payless LLC is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Privacy inquiries related to international transfer frameworks may be sent to cs.gpbid@gmail.com. Unresolved complaints may, in certain circumstances, be eligible for binding arbitration mechanisms provided under applicable frameworks.
9. Retention
We keep personal information while we have an ongoing legitimate business need (for example, to provide the Services or meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements). Retention periods consider sensitivity, risk, purposes, alternatives, and legal requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize information, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible (e.g., backups).
10. Supplemental notice for California residents
This section applies to personal information subject to the CCPA/CPRA.
- Sources, purposes, and disclosures are described in the sections above.
- We “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising about Gpbid products/services. We do not “sell” personal information as we understand that term under the CCPA.
- California residents may opt out of “sale”/“sharing” via any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link we provide on the Services.
- We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing personal information of minors under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Sensitive personal information is used for security, fraud resistance, limited identity verification, and purposes that do not infer characteristics about you.
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA rights.
- Authorized agents and verification steps apply as described under rights above.
- Shine the Light and minor content-removal rights may apply as provided by California law.
Referral or similar incentive programs are voluntary; value depends on how you and referred users use the Services.
11. Supplemental notice for Nevada residents
We do not currently sell personal information as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. To request that we not sell your information in the future, email cs.gpbid@gmail.com with subject “Nevada Do Not Sell Request,” your name, and the email on your account.
12. Children’s information
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Parents or guardians who believe a child provided information may contact us; we will delete information and close the account unless we must retain it by law.
13. Other provisions
Third-party sites/apps. Links to third parties are not controlled by us. Their privacy practices are their own; sharing information with them is at your risk.
Changes. We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and post the new policy (and provide other notice if required by law). Please review this page periodically.
